The Live Chat service is operated by the Alcohol and Drug Support Line (ADSL) in Western Australia for the purpose of providing alcohol and drug counselling and support for the benefit of the public. The Live Chat service is provided free of charge for residents of Western Australia and is operated Monday to Friday 7:30am-9:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 7:00pm, and Sundays 11:00am - 6pm.

Our assessments and counselling are based on the information you choose to share with us. Services provided by ADSL are not a substitute for independent professional advice from your own or another health professional.

ADSL is a confidential service, however if we are concerned about your safety or the safety of another person, our duty of care will override this. A transcript of your chat will be stored in accordance with State government record keeping policies.
