The Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Support Service (ADMHSS) offers a range of telephone services for individuals concerned about their alcohol or other drug use and related mental health issues to access help while also supports the people around them, including families, carers, concerned others, and professional healthcare workers.
Currently ADMHSS runs three main phone services:
- The Alcohol and Drug Support Line is for anyone with concerns about their own or someone else's alcohol and/or drug use.
- The Parent and Family Drug Support Line is for anyone impacted by someone else's alcohol and/or drug use.
- The Here For You Support Line provides support for people with concerns surrounding their own or another's mental health and/or alcohol and/or drug use.
These helplines are available free of charge to all residents of Western Australia every day of the year including public holidays. All these lines are totally confidential and ADMHSS will never share any of your personal details unless there is a clear risk of self-harm or a serious danger to other people in which case, we have a duty of care to ensure you are safe. If you disclose to us that you are using illicit substances, we will absolutely not pass this information onto the police.
The ADMHSS is provided by the Mental Health Commission, which is working towards Western Australians leading healthy and fulfilling lives.
ADMHSS is not an emergency service. For emergencies, please dial triple zero (000).
