Concerned About Someone Else's Alcohol and/or Other Drug Use?
Do you need a safe and supportive space to talk about what you're experiencing and connect with others who understand?
A Family Support Group may be able to help.
What is a Family Support Group?
Our Family Support Groups are for anyone impacted by the alcohol and/or other drug use of a family member, partner, friend, or loved one. The groups provide a welcoming, non-judgemental environment where people can share their experiences, discuss the challenges they face, and learn about the support and options available to them.
Built on the principles of mutual support and shared understanding, these groups bring together people who have faced similar situations. While they are not a replacement for professional counselling or treatment, they can offer connection, encouragement, and practical insights from others who truly understand.
Our facilitators have lived experience supporting a loved one affected by alcohol and/or other drug use. They draw on their own journeys to offer hope, understanding, and guidance, while ensuring everyone has the opportunity to be heard, respected, and supported.
You deserve support too. Join a FREE support group in your area.
What participants have said the best part about the group is:
- "A safe space with open and honest conversations. The tools and strategies shared have really helped us cope with a loved one's addiction. We've already seen so much positive change. Thank you."
- "The freedom to talk openly in a supportive environment."
- "Everyone is friendly and understanding. The best part is connecting with people who are going through similar challenges."
